GivenEyesToSee.com's All Things Disney Gateway
I had started to amass a large number of small, Disney pages on my domain.
Realizing that they were pretty scattered and that it was getting confusing to find them all,
I put this directory page together to be a gateway to all the Disney content on my domain. Hope it helps and enjoy.

Disney Photo Galleries - My ever-growing collection of photos of Walt Disney World, Orlando, FL. Includes Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios, Animal Kingdom, Wilderness Lodge Resort, and more. Rides, attractions, scenery, etc. Tons of photos and more always being added. (pics currently from 2003-2005)

My 30th Birthday at WDW: May 16, 2007 - Went out for trip for my birthday and was surprised with a lovely lunch at Le Cellier in Canada (Epcot) and a cake after the meal. A great day was had by all.

Flower and Garden Festival : Butterfly Garden April 15, 2007 - Every year, Epcot is decorated with beautiful topiaries, flowers and plants during a celebration called the Flower and Garden Festival. As part of the Festival, they also include a Butterfly Garden. Here are some beautiful photos of the butterflies.

Crystal Palace Buffet for Love's Birthday February 17, 2007 - The Crystal Palace Buffet ("A Restaurant with Character") is an all-you-can-eat buffet within the Magic Kingdom. Pooh, Tigger, Eeoyre and Piglet all go from table-to-table for a meet and greet with diners. I surprised Love with lunch there for his birthday.

Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights November 25, 2006 - The residential streets of the MGM Studios backlot are transformed each year with over five million lights. And new for 2006, the lights "dance" to the music of the Trans Siberian Orchestra. Pictures, panorama and videos included.

Christmas Eve 2005 at the Magic Kingdom - We decided to enjoy a little holiday cheer as only Walt Disney World can do it and visited the Magic Kingdom on Christmas Eve. We also hopped over to the Grand Floridian Resort and took photos of their amazing Gingerbread House. Also includes a panorama of Main Street.

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party October 31st, 2005 - Select nights in October feature a hard-ticket event (separate admission required) based on a family-friendly Halloween party. After the park closes, the Magic Kingdom is transformed with lights, special parades, unique fireworks, trick-or-treating and more. Everyone - adults included! - is encouraged to dress up in costume and enjoy the fun of Halloween. This was my first time at MNSSHP and I was lucky enough to go on Halloween night itself. Photos and videos.

New Year's Eve 2004 at the Magic Kingdom - For December 31, 2004, I spent the day (and night) at the Magic Kingdom ringing in the New Year. It was a first for me. The joke runs something like, you, Mickey, and his 100,000 closest friends. And they're not far off the mark. Fireworks, Christmas decorations, scenery and more in these galleries.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party December 3, 2004 - Every year, WDW does a couple special event nights. One of these is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. It's a separate ticket event which runs after the Magic Kingdom closes to the general public. Twelve magical nights in November and December, the park is decorated with trees, lights, special events and shows and they even make it snow all night long on Main Street. I got to go for the first time ever this year and here's some general and parade photos.

Pirates of the Caribbean Chess Game - We read a rumor about the skeleton's chess game being a stalemate so we set out to take pictures. I've put together a page with images of the ride and the chess board in question. I have more comparative photos to add as it seems the board actually gets changed around with a regular frequency. *updated regularly!

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea Tribute - A small tribute and history-in-action page following the ride from my first photo of it in 1984, through it's unused Lagoon state, as it's being drained and fully dismantled and how it transforms into Pooh's Playful Spot. I felt it was important to preserve the changes and I've never had a chance to actually see and experience these dramatic changes in person before. April 2004 - September 2005.

Donald Duck's 50th Birthday Parade 1984 - I recently found photos that my mom took on our first ever trip to WDW back in 1984. Donald Duck turned 50 and they threw a parade for him. Twenty years later, he's celebrating his 70th birthday (sadly without a parade) and I dusted the photos off, scanned them, cleaned them up and put them together on a small page for your viewing enjoyment.

Magic Kingdom - Walt Disney World 1972 - My Love first went to WDW in August of 1972 at the ripe old age of 2 1/2. We went through his family photo albums, found some pictures, scanned them, cleaned them up and put them together so you can peek at the park the year after it opened!

EPCOT City Model - Just a handful of shots taken from the Tomorrowland Transit Authority ("TTA" or "WEDway PeopleMover" for you older fans) of Walt Disney's original EPCOT city model. It's hard to get shots of it and it's been reduced in size. It's also sadly showing signs of wear, age and neglect.

Pal Mickey Gallery - In 2004, I purchased a Pal Mickey interactive talking plush park guide. He's pretty darned cool. Anyway, here's photos of him around WDW on his various adventures.

My Disney Pin Collection - I admit it. I collect Disney pins. I'm not much of a trader because I have a limited budget with which to buy pins so when I buy something, it's generally something I want. This is a gallery of my pins as well as my pin collection on display.
